Helping new and incoming students explore & access transformative experiences at the U
The Lassonde Ambassador and Mentor Program helps high school students explore higher education at the University of Utah. Started in 2014, the program provides university students with scholarships to serve as Lassonde Ambassadors. They act as peer mentors by hosting presentations, workshops, one-on-one meetings, class visits and more. Special emphasis is given to helping first-generation, high-school students explore careers and educations related to innovation, entrepreneurship and STEM (science, technology, engineering and math). Get involved by requesting a mentor visit with an ambassador or contacting us for more information.
