MBC Marketing Agency Teams for Fall 2025

The MBC Marketing Agency at the University of Utah’s David Eccles School of Business has announced its student teams for the fall 2025 semester.

The MBC Marketing Agency is a fast-paced, hands-on opportunity where students deliver high-impact marketing work for real companies enrolled in the Master of Business Creation (MBC) program — an innovative degree designed to help entrepreneurs scale their startups through expert mentorship, advanced business tools, and comprehensive resources.

The student-run, student-led agency plays a critical role in this journey, amplifying the efforts of MBC founders with professional-grade marketing solutions that directly impact their growth.

Through the agency, students don’t just study marketing — they execute it. Each participating MBC company selects from a suite of core deliverables designed to strengthen visibility and accelerate growth:

  1. Feature Article – Crafting compelling narratives that capture a company’s story, mission, and value proposition.
  2. Website Audit – Providing in-depth feedback on site performance, user experience, and SEO optimization.
  3. Content Creation – Producing professional-grade materials, with companies choosing between short-form content, a commercial, or an explainer video.
  4. Website Improvement  –Designing, enhancing, and launching website pages for new or un-launched webpages. A newly added deliverable for Fall 2025, built from a successful “test and learn” pilot that is now integrated into the agency’s mainstream services.

This year, the MBC Marketing Agency is not only supporting domestic companies but has also gone global, working with MBC Global companies in Africa. Associates have gained first-hand experience working with entrepreneurs across the United States, Canada, Ghana, South Africa, Kenya, and Nigeria, giving students an invaluable cross-cultural marketing perspective while offering founders fresh strategies and creative execution.

For entrepreneurs, the agency’s work strengthens branding, digital presence, and audience engagement, often providing marketing assets and strategies that would otherwise be out of reach for early-stage startups.

For students, this is a launchpad for their careers. Associates build professional portfolios, sharpen high-impact marketing skills, and learn the realities of working in fast-moving startup environments.
