MBC Marketing Agency Teams for Summer 2025

The MBC Marketing Agency at the University of Utah’s David Eccles School of Business has announced its student teams for the Summer 2025 semester.

Offering more than just student projects, the MBC Marketing Agency is a fast-paced, hands-on opportunity blending real-world impact with professional development, doing real work for real companies enrolled in the Master of Business Creation (MBC) program.

The MBC Program is a unique opportunity designed to help entrepreneurs scale their startups. Each year, a select group of founders join this program and gain access to expert mentorship, advanced business tools, along with other essential resources and training to ensure growth of their business. The student-run, student-led MBC Marketing Agency’s role in this journey is to amplify these efforts, better equipping founders with high-impact marketing solutions.

Through the agency, students don’t just learn, they lead in making meaningful contributions to real-world marketing challenges. Each participating business selects one of three core services designed to enhance company visibility and growth:

  • Feature article: Crafting compelling narratives that showcase the company’s story, mission, and value to its audience.
  • Website audit: Delivering in-depth feedback on site performance, user experience, and SEO optimization.
  • Content creation: Producing professional-grade materials — including video content to captivate audiences and elevate brand presence.

Not only does this partnership strengthen MBC startups’ branding, platform, and outreach, but also gives students a better look into what it truly takes to be an entrepreneur building a business from the ground up.

At its core, the MBC Marketing Agency is more than just its deliverables- it is a launch pad for future marketers. Students walk away having learned and developed high-impact marketing skills through being given the opportunity to innovate alongside inspiring entrepreneurs and their businesses. This experience equips students to thrive in the competitive marketing industry, while giving entrepreneurs a fresh perspective on their businesses.
