Helping new students explore & access transformative experiences the U
Created in 2014, the Lassonde Ambassador and Mentor Program is a student-run initiative focused on helping high school students explore higher education at the University of Utah. Each ambassador receives a scholarship to connect with high school students and act as a peer mentor. The outreach opportunities available include hosting classroom presentations, workshops, class visits, tours/field trips, service projects, tabling events, and more. Special emphasis is given to helping first-generation, high-school students explore careers and opportunities related to innovation, entrepreneurship, and STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math). Get involved by requesting an ambassador or contacting us for more information.
