Our founder, Pierre Lassonde, and three of our student entrepreneurs appeared on the “U Rising” podcast recently. The regular podcast is hosted by President Ruth Watkins and features top trends and innovations at the U. Joining Mr. Lassonde on the podcast were student entrepreneurs Austin Birch, William Pepper, and Tiff Polmateer.
The group talked about tips for entrepreneurs, resources available to students at the U, and what lies ahead for the top-10 ranked Lassonde Entrepreneur Institute. The podcast was recorded on the eve of the institute’s 20th anniversary, which it will celebrate in the 2021-22 academic year. “I’m looking forward to the next 20 years,” Mr. Lassonde said. “I think that there’s no reason why we cannot be No. 1 in the world.”
