Dedication Event Information for Residents

  • Please wear your Lassonde T-shirt! You are the hosts of this event. It is your home we are sharing with the community.
  • Mingle with the VIPs and other visitors and share your story.
  • Keep an eye on the secure-door swipes into each residential community. Don’t let visitors follow you into your communities.
  • The Miller Cafe will remain open during the dedication.
  • There will be many visitors from on and off campus stopping by the building and the makerspace lounges. Keep your belongings safely stored.
  • Housing & Residential Education will be conducting organized tours of the building from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tours will be taking place on the second floor, visiting rooms of residents who have indicated interest in participating in these ways. Tours will be passing through the community spaces of the second floor only.
  • Members of the media may be present during the dedication.During this time, media are allowed to ask students and residents questions. Students and residents can decide if they want to participate in media interviews. A resident can allow media to go into their room and film the room if they would like. The resident is responsible to escort media in and out of the community space.
