Drew Johnson is combining his passion for medicine and fitness as the founder of IQ Elevate Labs, which provide cognitive enhancement supplements. He is currently growing the company in the Master of Business Creation (MBC) program at the University of Utah.
With a father who was a physician, Johnson has always had a deep connection to the medical field and it was no surprise that he pursued a degree in biochemistry on a pre-med track at Drury University. But alongside his academic pursuits, another passion grew — physical fitness.
“I’ve always had a strong interest in entrepreneurship; the freedom, creativity, risk, and autonomy that it brings inspire and excite me,” said Johnson, who was born and raised in Springfield, Mo. “I like to read stories about successful businesses and the stories of the entrepreneurs that started them. The majority of them all seemed to share a common theme: they failed many times before they succeeded.” Motivated by this mindset, he launched his first business, IQ Elevate Labs.
“IQ Elevate Labs is a supplement company specializing in nootropic supplements, or cognitive enhancement supplements,” Johnson said.
