A leading publication for startup news and trends, Fast Company featured Lassonde Studios in a new article titled “A $45 Million Experiment to Turn Dorms into Incubators.”
Lassonde Studios is a new building where all students on campus can live, create products and launch startups. It opened in August 2016 and has received worldwide attention for its unique design and mission.
The Fast Company article is an overview of everything the building has to offer and what it achieves to accomplish. Highlighting some of the first residents, the article discusses details including a 24-hour cafe, being open to students from any major, student housing options and “an amped-up version of the mythical garage that entrepreneurial icons like Steve Jobs are said to have emerged from.”
“No, this is not one of Silicon Valley’s many office spaces [as well as] playground; it’s Lassonde Studios, a $45 million experiment in education,” writes Fast Company.
