Games4Health: Register now for 2015-16 season

Compete to win $60,000 in prizes

Now is the time to get involved with the global Game4Health competition, hosted by the Sorenson Center for Innovation and Discovery at the David Eccles School of Business. The competition brings together video games with health promotion. Teams compete for $60,000 in five categories.

Registration opened on Oct. 19, and the season concludes with an award ceremony on April 1, 2016.

Health and gaming are converging to enable healthier lives through games that people love. From wellness programs in large companies to adolescents that play video games as much as they are in school, games have the potential to increase the health and quality of life of millions of people.

How do we make health-promoting activities more mentally rewarding? Which digital experiences will improve the healthcare system? There are a number of ways that games can positively impact the way we care for ourselves and each other.
