Chase Norton, University of Utah alumni and co-founder of Artisan Hardware, won the Utah Venture Entrepreneur Forum’s Utah Student 25 Award recently. Artisan Hardware has experienced tremendous growth during the past couple years as they’ve focused on handmade artisan-quality hardware for interior sliding barn doors. Chase started his business in 2014 while he was still a marketing major in the Eccles School of Business.
“I knew internet marketing would be the key to growing my business during its formative years,” Chase said. “Marketing through digital channels provides a business the unique opportunity to connect with a global demand. I was able to quickly apply principles I was learning in my marketing classes and see real results in a growing business.”
