Founder Kian Torimi is working to change the way people invest in real estate with his startup Yubedo. It provides an easy-to-use interface that has highly detailed and easily digestible information on a vast range of properties. He is growing the company in the Master of Business Creation (MBC) program at the University of Utah’s David Eccles School of Business.
The Yubedo platform is designed to “empower both novice and experienced investors in making informed property decisions,” Torimi said. By using Yubedo, people can learn and develop the skills needed to learn about real-estate investment and find the right properties to invest in, all through a seamless software interface.
“Whether you’re looking for your first investment or seeking to expand your portfolio, Yubedo simplifies the complexity of real-estate investment, making it accessible for everyone,” Torimi said.
The Yubedo plaftorm currently features properties for sale across Utah for anyone interested in investing in real estate anywhere in the state. Using the Yubedo platform, investors can review and compare properties in Logan, Salt Lake City, St. George, and anywhere in-between. In time, Torimi expects to expand the Yubdoe platform to allow investors to review properties anywhere in the country.
Torimi, originally from Iran, has a background in neuroscience and bioengineering. He has a passion for using state-of-the-art technology, which includes artificial intelligence, as well as helping other people understand complex topics.
Yubedo offers vast opportunities with how-to videos and the Yubedo Academy on their website where users can learn the ins and outs of real estate through easy-to-follow demonstrations. Not only does it have education available, but it also allows its users to find themselves a profitable investment property by using advanced search tools available from Yubedo.
Using the knowledge he has gained in the Master of Business Creation program, Torimi has been able to better define the value and operations of his company. One of the biggest accomplishments that Torimi has achieved during his time in the MBC program so far is that he has executed and everything he has done so far, he learned about and did for the first time. It is always important to have a clear vision when starting a company, which Yubdeo has created, as well as not being afraid to go after what you want and just make a start towards your goals.
“I want to introduce the platform to as many beginner and emerging real estate investors, so I can help them achieve their dreams of financial independence,” Torimi said.
