eBay hosts the Student Entrepreneur Challenge: a full-day conference to help students develop their entrepreneurial ideas.

2015 Student Entrepreneur Conference

Why start your business alone when you have the opportunity to learn with some of the best and brightest student entrepreneurs in the state? Come learn from community professionals about intellectual property law, business formation, product design and digital marketing at the Student Entrepreneur Conference on Sept. 26 at the new Ebay campus from 8am to 2pm.

The event is hosted by the Lassonde Entrepreneur Institute at the University of Utah. The event features keynote speaker Travis Cook, owner and co-founder of several businesses, including SolutionStream, a custom software development firm located in Lehi.

The statewide conference provides students with an introduction to entrepreneurship, chances to network with other student entrepreneurs and opportunities to interact with successful business leaders. The event caters to all types of student entrepreneurs, whether you are experienced and already have your own business or are new to the game and seeking ideas. One student commented, “I loved attending the conference because it gave me confidence to build my own business and provided me with the tools I needed to be successful.”

At the conference, students will also have the opportunity to learn more about the various competitions offered through the Utah Entrepreneur Series that help students get funding to launch their business ideas. The conference is held every fall semester and is open to all university students across the state. All students are encouraged to register.
